The Hole in Our Gospel
New Adult Sunday School class begins April 15 – The Hole in Our Gospel, a six week class taught by Pastor Tom Anderson in Room 114/116. Is our faith just about going to church, studying the Bible and avoiding the most serious sins -- or does God expect more? This is the compelling true story of a corporate CEO who set aside worldly success and discovered the full power of the gospel of Jesus Christ to change his life. The whole gospel was always meant to be a world-changing social revolution.

About Harvest Ridge...
We welcome you to Harvest Ridge Covenant Church, a multi-generational church, incorporating both contemporary and traditional styles of worship, caring for its members and reaching out to our community.
Harvest Ridge is a church community of about 200 people in northwest Johnson County, Kansas, on the western edge of metropolitan Kansas City. Our life centers on seeking to follow Jesus Christ. We are an intergenerational family in the best sense because God has shown his amazing and redeeming love for us in Jesus – and that makes us a family. We worship, and integrate our deep faith with tradition. Communion is celebrated the first Sunday of each month.
Our focus is worship is not upon us, nor about creating a “performance”, rather, it is about honoring God and offering ourselves to him in service. We are very intentional about our approach to worship to incorporate a variety of traditional and contemporary expressions. And even though our services are carefully structured, we are casual in dress and language. Sermons are biblically-based and are relevant and practical in their application to our lives.
Worship at Harvest Ridge is classic-blended approach that is Christ-centered, family-friendly, inspiring and authentic.
A volunteer-staffed nursery is available during the 9:00 Sunday School hour and during the 10:15 Sunday worship service. There is a check-in procedure at the counter and nursing moms are always welcome to use one of the rocking chairs. During the sermon, “Children’s Church” is provided for kids Pre-Kindergarten through 5th grade. They are separated into a younger and older group and return to the service after the message.
